On Becoming a Mother
Memoir no longer works as a structure. Records of events, emotions, feelings, incidents, overall attitudes, loathing, embracing, letting go, clinging, change. All part of the significant paradigm shift toward filling the role, finding self in the highly idealized yet gritty reality of what we call Mother. On Becoming a Mother. Do I need a subtitle?

Perhaps…if a subtitle towards the physical work you’re showing would be better emphasized in the written work as well. Also, I wonder if “On Becoming a Mother” isn’t a bit cliche in terms of wording in itself. I like your words “idealized” and “gritty”…that shows a great insight into how a modern feminist woman may embrace the shift from non-parent to parent. Try something with those words?
