Leah – I wish we lived close because I would love to spend an afternoon talking to you about your work. I am currently in the midst of writing an ethnography of a birth non-profit here in Bloomington IN (while experiencing the first year of motherhood and practicing as a doula). I need to email you because there is so much I want to say but probably not the place in your comment section. I just wanted to let you know how much I love this site and your thoughts. They’ve been invaluable to me on many levels (academic, personal, spiritual).
